It kills every cell in my body to not respond to this thread. It hits too close to home because for the past 15 years of my life, I've been completely consumed by terrorism, or counterterrorism. 

I was born an eternal optimist and I used to see the good in most everything. 

 

However, my professional life has "matured" me, i.e. i no longer accept wooden nickels, and I have lost faith in humanity. In a token way feel apologetic for bringing two children into this world that is all fucked up.

I loaded up the game, created my new space commander, got into my ship, did the pre-flight checklist with my new $60 joystick.  Then the controls were in reverse so I slammed into the fucking station and fired my weapons and got fined for most of the credits I started out with.

 

I wish you were a streamer or recorded this because that shit would be hilarious.
