Umm, I never had that happen but ok, keep in mind not every star can be refueled on, also the current path mapping system stops working if the route is >100 jumps, and make sure you set the route shortest, otherwise the default is economic which makes the (i think) shortest distance for each jump (so you can hit every system on the way) vice making the longest distance jumps your ship can handle.

I had to head in the general direction of the system for like 50 lightyears before i had a route that would display for me, as for questing, I have been looking for random stuff out in space, though I haven't gotten the hang of the quest system myself. I don't really like the UI sometimes, and I can't figure out if I can store things in the station when I am not there.

120+ Lightyears, 2 interdictions, 1 nearly falling into a white dwarf, but I made it.

I got low on fuel doing that myself a few minutes ago.

also if you can afford a fuel scoup, you can work your way there, its not hard, just takes some management to keep the heat down, thats what im doing right now trying to find a way to the staging system

dont go directly go from system to system, also need to manage fuel usage.
