It kills every cell in my body to not respond to this thread. It hits too close to home because for the past 15 years of my life, I've been completely consumed by terrorism, or counterterrorism. I was born an eternal optimist and I used to see the good in most everything. However, my professional life has "matured" me, i.e. i no longer accept wooden nickels, and I have lost faith in humanity. In a token way feel apologetic for bringing two children into this world that is all fucked up.
