For anyone new trying it, it's basically the most profitable thing in the game at the moment, you can start from the rookie ship if you want but it's a little slow, you'll upgrade ships very quickly to cobra -> type-6, I would get a fuel scoop unless you want to be like me and run out of fuel one jump away and self destruct.
Go to Beta Sculptoris and do this, in a type-6 it's 3-4 million/hour if you go hard. Yes, you get the credits guaranteed even if you smash into the ship without seeing the message for reward.
No docking, log out+in lets you skip the entire undock animation and having to boat out of the station.

There is, but it's a little unwieldy when you need to take your hand off it to hit '1' to access the computer screen, then move your hand back to change speeds, would rather just use keybinds for that. Not enough binds to do both just off the stick.

I only played a couple hours with it but it feels solid enough. It's really customizable so it doesn't matter if you have gigantic yeti hands like me. I would have far preferred if it was metal instead of plastic but so far it seems like good build quality. I'm more than likely going to end up weighting the base as well.
Biggest problem so far is figuring out how the fuck to bind stuff, I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up using the joystick for flight maneuvering/locking/firing and the keyboard for everything else including acceleration.

It's neat. I think it will be extra neat once I figure out how to space commander.

I loaded up the game, created my new space commander, got into my ship, did the pre-flight checklist with my new $60 joystick. Then the controls were in reverse so I slammed into the fucking station and fired my weapons and got fined for most of the credits I started out with.

The reason this one works so well is because the station wasn't updated to fluctuate with market prices. There's an infinite supply at the lowest price in the game that doesn't change.
